  1. I don't know about strivectin, but I'm thinking about the laser removal. The laser is very costly and takes several sessions at $200 for about 2in by 3in. Even if you don't think it will, try the strivectin first and think positive.I think cocoa butter is best for preventing them. I know how people feel on that, I had gained 60lbs with my son..he's almost 3 nowso I'm kinda starting to think tummy tuck too. Also depends on where they are.
  2. Another option is to visit a dermatologist and get various prescribed creams such as Retin-A. Various experiments on use of this cream have shown a considerable decrease in stretch mark size. This medication is not recommended for women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, because the effects it may have on your baby are unknown. Laser surgery is the most permanent, successful way to get rid of stretch marks. The color of the stretch mark determines the type of laser that it used. Another, more recent kind of laser surgery can actually make your skin, and stretch marks, more flexible. The good thing about these surgeries is that they are fairly, if not completely painless. Unfortunately, many insurance plans don’t cover these surgeries as they are considered cosmetic surgeries. This means a very large investment out of your own pocket, which is definitely something to consider before using laser surgery to get rid of your stretch marks. 3. Break Vitamin E capsules over your stretch marks and that works really well. It also works great on scars.
  4. Hi Debug, Strivectin does actually work, but you have to be consistent when applying it. Read the instructions and follow them. When I was trying it out, because I was going to launch it at a major department store I had to see if it really worked before I could sell it. You do need to apply through out the day, that means carrying it with you to work and applying at break and lunch time too. It will lighten up your stretch marks very nicely, but will not remove them permanently. Remember to massage on all targeted areas your trying to achieve. When you stop using the product though, they will go back to the way they were before you started using the product. So my advice is, if you could afford it, go for it, if not, use it 6-8 weeks before that special occasion. If you do want to remove them permanently then i would suggest surgery to your last resort.
