Skin Care Routein?

Is it ok to Exfoliate, then Moisturise, then Use an anti ageing serum In that order?

Public Comments

  1. you always moisturize at the end. going from a rough exfoliation straight to moisturizer isn't great for your skin, it might get confused.. try this order: exfoliate, anti age, then moisturize.
  2. 1. Cleanse 2. Exfoliate 3. Anti-Aging serums 4. Moisturizer
  3. This is what I do. Daytime Wash Toner (if your need pore refining / in not you could skip) eye cream the ones with spf Moisterizer (+spf) Nightime Wash Exfoliate (normally you suppose to exf. after gentle wash & if using everyday - might be harsh on skin - could try every other night) may be easier to use a Night cream with anti aging treatment included don't forget the eye cream a face mask every 2 to 3 weeks for hydration or deep cleaning will help too. I have no breakouts and barely any wrinkles. I like to use Lancome, Estee Lauder, and sometimes Aveeno. I switch brand or types acording to season and my sensitivity on my skin from the weather.
  4. This is what I recommend: cleanse -> (exfoliate only 2-3 times a week MAX, anything more might cause irritation) -> serum -> then moisturizer. If you apply your moisturizer first (which I'm assuming contains mineral oil), the product is going to sit on the top layer of your skin like saran wrap. This will cause the serum to coat your skin rather then penetrate to give you the benefits that you're looking for. If you don't already have one, get a good PURE WATER BASED moisturizer with an SPF 8 (anything more can cause irritation on a daily use) to penetrate the dermis to deeply condition and hydrate your skin. If you have any questions, would like more tips, or would like to customize a great skin care regimen for yourself, I'm happy to help.
