Any nutritionists tell me more about human growth hormone?

i am 17 and can afford the costs of human growth hormone injections. I am short at 165 cm and would like to know more about HGH, things like: length of treatment, expected growth range e.g. xcm-ycm, hidden costs, side effects etc. I would also like to know about supplements like amino secretagogues that i can take like glutamine, but i need more info. So please i don mind, bombard me with info but relevant info please don spam

  1. Sorry. That kind of treatment is ONLY given to those with disorders like various forms of dwarfism. You may be a little short, but you are no way a little person. No doctor is going to give those to you. There is nothing you can purchase or do that will make you grow. You still have some time---guys are not done growing until they are 21-22.
  2. BMAC has it exactly right. You're only a little below average adult height, and may well grow another inch or so before you're done. Leave it alone.
  3. bmac is partly right, partly wrong. Dwarfism is not usually treated with growth hormone because it is genetic. Growth hormone is used to treat people with growth hormone deficiency--growth hormone is produced by the pituitary so that would mean some sort of pituitary condition like tumor. In kids who are still growing, lack of gh will stunt their growth so replacing it will let them continue to grow at a normal rate. In adults who are done growing who are deficient, the affects of low gh is life-threatening. It affects your heart, bones, muscle tone, will make you fatigued, and will make you age prematurely. No Dr. that wants to keep their medical license will prescribe it to a person who is not deficient. If you are able to obtain it illegally, at 17 you are probably done growing anyway so probably won't help AND raising your gh levels above normal will have long-term negative health affects. Don't do it! Its not worth it!
  4. You need to see a doctor. Working with hormones is not something that falls into the DIY category.
