How can this under-eye cream work? I've read rave reviews about this cream on the internet to treat the undereye area. It is also supposed to get rid of milia but I can see that in its ingredients, it contains oils. How can it get rid of milia if it contains oils? http://www.dermstore.com/product_Phyto+Contour+-+Eye+Firming+Cream_5265.htm I thought that the oils would cause more under-eye clogging?

Please give reviews on it. Dark circle eye cream? I was wondering which eyecream would help me with the noticeable dark circles under my eyes. When I was younger, I barely got any sleep, so this is probably the reason for my dark circles (lack of sleep). I researched different eye creams and found out that there are ALOT of them... My question is, does anyone have/had the same problem, and if you did, which cream worked for you? (Ive already seen review sites etc, I just want to know what creams helped you guys get rid of dark circles caused by lack of sleep. Thanks again Layney, did it help you get rid of them?
What is the best anti-wrinkle face cream? My mom is 53 and has oily/combo skin with wrinkles. For Christmas she wants me to buy her some stuff to make her look younger! I want to buy her a cleanser, a peel or microdermabrasion, a night cream and an eye cream. I have narrowed the brands down to Roc, Neutrogena, and Oil of Olay. They all get good reviews on Amazon. Of these 3, which have you found to really improve skin texture and shrink wrinkles? What is the best for my money?
Does Hylexin eye cream really work? Ive been curious about trying Hylexin eye cream for a while now but have been nervous b/c of the expensive price and not knowing if it really helps. Has anyone tried it? Ive heard from reviews online that it has helped people get rid of the dark purple marks under their eyes...but what about the puffiness? Is it supposed to work for that too? Also, would you know the best/least expensive way of getting it (not including Ebay)? Thanks.

Moisturizing eye cream that gets rid of fine lines....Any ideas? The eye creams that seem promising thus far are Roc Retinol eye cream, Avon Anew Clinical Eye Lift and Booth's Black Licorice eye cream which I found on Drugstore.com and it got rave reviews. Has anyone tried any of these and if so are they any good? Please reccomend a product that moisturizes the undereye area and softens very fine lines (only 24 so not sure if they are from lack of moisture or what...). Thanks. http://www.drugstore.com/products/prod.asp?pid=153786&catid=13121

Do Loreal Eye Defense cream really have adverse effect? I always have a problem with undereye rings due to serious lack of sleep ever since i started uni life. and i've recently bought L'oreal Paris Eye Defense. After buying it my friend told me it made her undereye ring worse. shocked, i went to search for its user review and found a one and only negative review for this product, saying that it darkened the undereye circle. Has anyone of you used this product before? Does it really has an adverse effect? I'm currently not using it for fear that it may make my undereye rings worse.
Out of these 3 Mineral Makeup brands, which do you like best? I am completely staying away from Bare Minerals because I have sensitive skin and I have heard many negative reviews about people breaking out from using their products, so please no posts about Bare Minerals. I have only tried L.A. Minerals so far...still going through the samples I ordered to determine the right shade for me. I think I'm fair cool. Their eye shadows are unbelievable. Anyways, I just also ordered samples from Everyday Minerals and Pure Luxe Cosmetics. I really want to try the cream eraser by Pure Luxe. Out of these 3 brands, which do you rate the highest or have the best luck with? Thanks, Jen! I am going to check out Aromaleigh.com for sure. I love the prices on the e.l.f. makeup brushes. Wow! Blah - I like Philosophy products anyway, so maybe I'll check out the product you mentioned. Thanks!

Concealer/Brightener Questions ^^? Okay,I have a few questions about my concealer.More specifically,my under-eye circles. Current concealer: Benefit-Boi-ing in Medium 02 Pros:Best concealer I've used so far, thick, buildable coverage Cons:Could blend better and also blend nicer with my foundation over top Current eye cream: Benefit-Eyecon (I like Benefit xD) Pros:Soothing, creamy, blendable Cons:I think it's causing me to have itchy eyes Current foundation: Benefit-Some-Kinda-Gorgeous Pros:Flawless coverage on face Cons:Darkens under-eye circles My circles are hereditary and severe. They are not blue/purple,but they are reddish-pink and purple.Sometimes more violet or lavender. Btw,I'm 13 so I obviously have young skin. Okay, that's just some background if this helps you define the products I'll need. Question #1:Is Boi-ing or M.A.C. a better concealer? If M.A.C. is better, concealer should I get?(I think I'm NW25) I want thick coverage and will stick with Boi-ing if it's thicker and has better coverage. Question #2: Do M.A.C. Paint Pots work well as a concealer base?I was considering getting Painterly, but I want to know if that will provide more coverage, and will make my concealer crease proof.OR,does Urban Decay Primer Potion work just as well? The color difference is what's making me ask. Question #3:Tricia Sawyer-Eye Slept-Is it any good?I want to order it from Sephora, and it has great reviews. So,if anyone has ever tried it,please let me know how you liked it.Also,if you have a wonderful under eye brightener that you think works better (preferably green based),please leave a suggestion. Question #4:Any good eye cream recomendations?I don't want to be itchy xD. Question #5:Any good tips/tricks to help my concealer appear as natural as possible and last longer without creasing? Question #6:Pressed or loose powder for setting?Product recomendations, please! Question #7:Has anyone tired using Knox gelatin (vitamin k) for vanishing bad circles?Let me know how it worked if you did!I'm starting it tonight.I think I tried it before once and it may have worked a bit.I don't remember. But,there was a typo in the recipe, and I just found the adjustment so it might be different.Hopefully better. Sorry for so many questions, but I just wanted to see what I could find. Thank you!
Dark Eye circles..Not Puffiness I really need help in trying to get a good eye cream that really works on dark eye circles. I dont want HOME REMEDIES. I would really like someone who has tried a cream that works. I need as many answers as possible. I also dont want to know the cause of dark eye circles, all i want is a review of eye creams that work. Im 21 so i dont really need an anti-wrinkle cream too, but if that is part of the product then thats fine. Thanks!!
Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner. Help!? I used to use an eyeliner from clinique, I believe it was called the cream eye shaper. It went on very smoothly and I applied it to my waterline. I don't think I want to continue using that eyeliner though because if doesn't come in black(which looks best on me). I just recently ran out of that eyeliner and I'm considering the Urban Decay 24/7 eyeliner. Is it okay to apply to my waterline? I've read some reviews and discovered that it was very creamy and rich but I'm not sure if it goes on your waterline well. I only wear eyeliner on my waterline and a little on my lashline, so I need to find an eyeliner that sticks. Also, does the urban decay liner go on darkly? If I get it, I'm going to buy it in Zero(black). Well, if anyone has experience on this eyeliner, please let me know how it is and how well it applies to your eye and waterline. Thanks in advance! =)
What is the best concealer on the market? help me to correct this paragrph? Restaurant Review Restaurant reviews help people choose restaurants . They tell the reader about the food, prices, location ,service. therfore I write two restaurant review , one for student newspaper and one for magazine for gourmet cooks . "the Roses" is a great restaurant for student and "The stinking Rose" restaurant for gourmet cooks. So You can check the best and worst restaurants in your city. "The Roses" restaurant is informal and old-fashioned . The service was not good . There are two dining rooms full of too many people, for example you have to wait a long time for your food because the waiters are not fast . The food is Italian and all the dishes are made with garlic. And the meal was not served properly and it was not delicious, Such as the chicken was not cooked well, the soup is cold and the fruits are not fresh. Prices are reasonable. Appetizers are from $ 6.00 to $ 9.00 Entrées are from $10,50 to $ 15,00 . On the contrary , "The stinking Rose" restaurant is fancy and trendy .They are decorated with many pictures and the music accompanies dinner. The service are excellent but, you have to reserve in advance .for example ,you can not make your order on the phone, you have to come. The chef has worked at many famous restaurants also, waiters are very friendly and fast. The food is expensive . Appetizers are from $ 30.00 t o$ 70.00 Entrées are from $ 500,50 to $ 700,00 . They serve a lot of delicious seafood for dessert, you can order seafood ice cream !. Lots of all In my eyes I think that restaurants reviews are very impotent to help people choose restaurants. You can also check the best and worst in your city. It's like a service that lets you track all new restaurants and hygiene inspection ratings for all restaurants. i am a student. i would like to improve my english writing
Face lotion that: helps with wrinkles, gives skin healthy glow, minimizes pores and helps with dark circles!? I know, I know...I'm asking for a lot in one little tube. But I'm on the hunt for the crown jewel of face lotion - something that addresses all of my thirty-something concerns. I need a product that helps with the lines around my mouth, my huge pores, and the dark circles under my eyes...all while making my skin look healthier/glowier. Oh yeah I also get pimples on my chin/t-zone! So something that helps with that too! LOL When I google "best face cream" I just find a bunch of people selling their "miracle cure", but I'd love some real reviews from women who've slathered their skin with tons of different products and finally found the ONE that WORKS! Currently I use Loreal pore minimizing face wash, close my pores with ponds toner (very gentle - not too harsh), and then lotion up with Ponds nutrients. It works...okay. Has anyone out there used a product that works and that they swear by? I don't care if I have to spend a lot of money, I just want something (or combination of somethings) that works. Thanks ladies!!!
Benefit eye con cream? Does anyone know if it actually works? I just spent 20 quid on such a tiny pot of the stuff. I have really bad dark circles, so any reviews of it would be helpful.
What is a good cream for dark circles under eyes? I can't find any really good reviews on anything. I know it should be vitamin K based, but what is one that has worked for you? Also is there any good skin discoloration creams to even out the tone of skin?
Any good eye creams that help get rid or reduce dark circles underneath eyes? I have had pesky dark circles underneath my eyes ever since I was a child from heriditary(?). What sucks is that I am a girl and it really bothers me and it takes a toll on self confidence. I have had people asking me if I had gotten punched in both eyes. I hate taking picture because all I could see is my eyes. I have nice green eyes and people always compliment me about them but I hate the fact about what surrounds it. So my question is does anyone know any good eye creams that help reduce and possibly get rid of dark eye circles???? Could you also tell me if you've used any products that didn't work. I've heard about Dermalex, but it seems to be getting mixed reviews. Thanks so much!
Does Vitamin E eye cream from The Body Shop work? i need to buy an eye cream because i have very bad dark circles anyway does anyone know if the Vitamin E eye cream work because i've read some reviews and there's positive responses but it could just be faked. i was going to buy Olay regenerist eye serum even though it's expensive so which one shall i buy because although Vitamin E eye cream is cheaper it kind of makes me feel that perhaps it doesn't work as much which is why it's cheaper

iS There A Difference Between Some Mens Cosmetics And Womens? i know that some products are made just for men, but thinkg like eye creams or face washes... is there really a difference? the reason i am asking this question is because i am looking for a cream for under the eye that reduces/hides dark circles. i got a sample of the nivea visage one and it SEEMS to work quite well so i read some reviews on it but was dissappointed to find that 9/10 people hated it (1 star rating!) and seen as though its quite pricey, i am now wondering wether its worth it. so, anyway, i came across the loreal one for men which got a 5 star rating from most people. would i be okay to use it? is it made for men for a reason or just so the company gets more money? thanks xx

Dark Under-Eye Circles.? I have a problem b/c I have dark under-eye circles and no matter what I do, you can always see them. I've tried soo many concealers and nothing seems to work, nothing covers them up completely and it's so annoying, b/c everyone can always see them, and I really wanna get rid of them badly. Is there any concealer that really works!! I use Physicians Formula Mineral Foundation, so maybe one that'll go with that..I've tried like every single concealer from PF and none really seem to work, I've even tried Revlon color stay cuz I heard it's really good and had good reviews and all but it was really bad for my dark circles... Anything I can try..or any creams too!!!! I need help with this really badly.. Give me something..and nothing expensive..just like any brand that you can buy anywhere..like Maybelline, Revlon, CoverGirl..you know like brands like that, cuz we don't really have Lancome and we don't have MAC and those other brands..just the simple ones....lol....which sux but yea... Is Benefit Eye Bright stick good...? I need something that works 100%! covers everything nicely! And something that doesn't clog your pores too..
Murad Intensive wrinkle reducer for eyes.? I am just wondering if anyone have used this product, and if it is any good. The reviews on Murad website are positive. However, this cream is $90 (0.5 Fl. oz tube). So I would like to hear more opinions. Thanks.
Has anyone ever used ..? Has anyone ever used the "Fast Response Eye Cream" by MAC? http://www.maccosmetics.com/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CATEGORY23433&PRODUCT_ID=PROD1459 I'm down to my wits ends with bags under my eyes. I have tryed cold spoons, cucumbers, tea bags, other eye creams blah blah the whole 9 yards. Has anyone tried it before or know anyone who has? What were the results? It's not that expensive either, I have narrowed it down to this or the one by Sephora which is 95$, but I've seen bad reviews, so I figured I would try MAC first, since I have had good results with other MAC products. And I've been looking at reviews and there were alot of good ones. I hope you can help me out! Oh, and does MAC let you sample the product before you buy it? Thanks!

Check out these 18 interesting things you can do to your body that you might have not known about? I think it is pretty cool!!! 1. If your throat tickles, scratch your ear! “When the nerves in the ear are stimulated, it creates a reflex in the throat that can cause a muscle spasm,” says Scott Schaffer, M.D., president of an ear, nose, and throat specialty center in Gibbsboro, New Jersey. “This spasm relieves the tickle.” 2. Experience supersonic hearing! If you're stuck chatting up a mumbler at a cocktail party, lean in with your right ear. It's better than your left at following the rapid rhythms of speech, according to researchers at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. If, on the other hand, you're trying to identify that song playing softly in the elevator, turn your left ear toward the sound. The left ear is better at picking up music tones. 3. Overcome your most primal urge! Need to pee? No bathroom nearby? You are male? Then fantasize... Thinking about sex preoccupies your brain, so you won't feel as much discomfort, says Larry Lipshultz, M.D., chief of male reproductive medicine at the Baylor College of Medicine. 4. Feel no pain! German researchers have discovered that coughing during an injection can lessen the pain of the needle stick. According to Taras Usichenko, author of a study on the phenomenon, the trick causes a sudden, temporary rise in pressure in the chest and spinal canal, inhibiting the painconducting structures of the spinal cord. 5. Clear your stuffed nose! The easiest, quickest, and cheapest way to relieve sinus pressure is to alternately thrust your tongue against the roof of your mouth, then press between your eyebrows with one finger. This causes the vomer bone, which runs through the nasal passages to the mouth, to rock back and forth, says Lisa DeStefano, D.O., an assistant professor at the Michigan State University college of osteopathic medicine. The motion loosens congestion; after 20 seconds, you'll feel your sinuses start to drain. 6. Fight fire without water! Studies have shown that patients who sleep on their left sides are less likely to suffer from acid reflux. The esophagus and stomach connect at an angle. When you sleep on your right, the stomach is higher than the esophagus, allowing food and stomach acid to slide up your throat. When you're on your left, the stomach is lower than the esophagus, so gravity's in your favor. 7. Cure your toothache without opening your mouth! Just rub ice on the back of your hand, on the V-shaped webbed area between your thumb and index finger. A Canadian study found that this technique reduces toothache pain by as much as 50 percent compared with using no ice. The nerve pathways at the base of that V stimulate an area of the brain that blocks pain signals from the face and hands. 8. Make burns disappear! When you accidentally singe your finger on the stove, clean the skin and apply light pressure with the finger pads of your unmarred hand. Ice will relieve your pain more quickly, Dr. DeStefano says, but since the natual method brings the burned skin back to a normal temperature, the skin is less likely to blister. 9. Stop the world from spinning! One too many drinks left you dizzy? Put your hand on something stable. The part of your ear responsible for balance, the cupula, floats in a fluid of the same density as blood. “As alcohol dilutes blood in the cupula, the cupula becomes less dense and rises,” says Dr. Schaffer. This confuses your brain. The tactile input from a stable object gives the brain a second opinion, and you feel more in balance. Because the nerves in the hand are so sensitive, this works better than the conventional footonthefloor wisdom. 10. Unstitch your side! If you're like most people, when you run, you exhale as your right foot hits the ground. This puts downward pressure on your liver (which lives on your right side), which then tugs at the diaphragm and creates a side stitch, according to The Doctors Book of Home Remedies for Men. The fix: Exhale as your left foot strikes the ground. 11. Stanch blood with a single finger! Pinching your nose and leaning back is a great way to stop a nosebleed if you don't mind choking on your own O positive. A more civil approach: Put some cotton on your upper gums just behind that small dent below your nose and press against it, hard. “Most bleeds come from the front of the septum, the cartilage wall that divides the nose,” says Peter Desmarais, M.D., an ear, nose, and throat specialist at Entabeni Hospital, in Durban, South Africa. “Pressing here helps stop them.” 12. Make your heart stand still! Trying to quell firstdate jitters? Blow on your thumb. The vagus nerve, which governs heart rate, can be controlled through breathing, says Ben Abo, an emergency medical services specialist at the University of Pittsburgh. It'll get your heart rate back to normal. 13. Thaw your brain! Too much ice-cream too fast will freeze the brains of lesser men. As for you, press your tongue flat against the roof of your mouth, covering as much as you can. “Since the nerves in the roof of your mouth get extremely cold, your body thinks your brain is freezing, too,” says Abo. “In compensating, it overheats, causing an icecream headache.” The more pressure you apply to the roof of your mouth, the faster your headache will subside. 14. Prevent nearsightedness! Poor distance vision is rarely caused by genetics, says Anne Barber, O.D., an optometrist in Tacoma, Washington. “It's usually caused by nearpoint stress.” In other words, staring at your computer screen for too long. So flex your way to 20/20 vision. Every few hours during the day, close your eyes, tense your body, take a deep breath, and, after a few seconds, release your breath and muscles at the same time. Tightening and releasing muscles such as the biceps and glutes can trick involuntary muscles like the eyes into relaxing as well. 15. Wake the dead! If your hand falls asleep while you're driving or sitting in an odd position, rock your head from side to side. It'll painlessly banish your pins and needles in less than a minute, says Dr. DeStefano. A tingly hand or arm is often the result of compression in the bundle of nerves in your neck; loosening your neck muscles releases the pressure. Compressed nerves lower in the body govern the feet, so don't let your sleeping dogs lie. Stand up and walk around. 16. Impress your friends! Next time you're at a party, try this trick: Have a person hold one arm straight out to the side, palm down, and instruct him to maintain this position. Then place two fingers on his wrist and push down. He'll resist. Now have him put one foot on a surface that's a half inch higher (a few magazines) and repeat. This time his arm will cave like the French. By misaligning his hips, you've offset his spine, says Rachel Cosgrove, C.S.C.S., coowner of Results Fitness, in Santa Clarita, California. Your brain senses that the spine is vulnerable, so it shuts down the body's ability to resist. 17. Breathe underwater! If you're dying to retrieve that quarter from the bottom of the pool, take several short breaths first essentially, hyperventilate. When you're underwater, it's not a lack of oxygen that makes you desperate for a breath; it's the buildup of carbon dioxide, which makes your blood acidic, which signals your brain that somethin' ain't right. “When you hyperventilate, the influx of oxygen lowers blood acidity,” says Jonathan Armbruster, Ph.D., an associate professor of biology at Auburn University. “This tricks your brain into thinking it has more oxygen.” It'll buy you up to 10 seconds. 18. Read minds! Your own! “If you're giving a speech the next day, review it before falling asleep,” says Candi Heimgartner, an instructor of biological sciences at the University of Idaho. Since most memory consolidation happens during sleep, anything you read right before bed is more likely to be encoded as longterm memory.

A Cheaper Alternative To Urban Decay Primer Lotion? I don't want to shell out $15.00,when you can get a different brand much cheaper. I did some research on U tube on this, and I found that if you get the Monistat Chafing Cream it works just as good. I really don't have a problem with my eye shadows,I have read the reviews about this type of primer. It makes your eye makeup last! I am on a budget,so I have to be real picky about my eye shadow primer. So,anything below that price would be appreciated! Thanks!! Nothing wrong with being frugal. ....
Skincare routine for combination, moderate acne, and acne scars? Hi! Recently i've been having a pretty bad time with my skin. I've been swapping my skin care routine around because i just CANT find a good skin care rountine for my combination skin , and i have moderate acne on forehead, cheeks and chin area. I also have many dark acne scars on my cheeks and on the right of my eye area---they are so noticable and visible. It is really annoying because ive been reading so many product reviews and wanting to buy all these cleansers, moisturizers, toners, spot-treatments, masques, sprays, creams...you know...everything! I currently use: Clearasil daily gel wash Clean and Clear oil-free toner (which i will stop using cause it has alcohol!) Clean and Clear oil-free moisturizer Clearasil ultra 5% benzoyl peroxide cream (and on other nights i use Mario Badescy Drying Lotion, but that sometimes makes me break out even more!) I really dont know what to do, right now i look like a horrible ugly monster with scars, combination skin and lots of pimples and so many blackheads on my T-Zone. Please help me by suggesting some products i could use for 1. Cleanser, Moisturizer (and toner if you think thats neccesary) 2. Spot treatment, or acne cream/gel. 3. Acne scars I live in australia so we dont have all the products that the US and other countries have :( Thanks so much for reading all this!! :)
18 facts you should know but dont really need 2 know? A Norton Security (my Norton is the latest 2008 version, I've had no problem whatsoever with it or my internet browsing) warning prompted me to ignore these websites because the security threat was low but I allowed a couple of those websites to use my "DNS server" something even though I didn't know what the websites were up to. There seems to be no virus, my pc is acting fine and last time I fully scanned my PC and there was no virus. I think I remember a couple times before the full scan, Norton warning popped up saying that it found a high security threat and it blocked it so my PC is safe. Now, every now and then, I'm getting harmless pop-up windows with adverts, sometimes I hear an advert voice speak out of nowhere (of course through my speakers). The frequency of their appearance is about once in many hours so what I do is I just close the pop-up window but it’s kind of annoying since I never had them before.
