skin peels after i tan? Hey i just started tanning in the bed about 3 weeks ago and i tan about once a week. But about 4 or 5 days after i tan in the bed, my face starts to peel. It's only my face not the rest of my body. I use tanning lotion when i am in the bed and i also put aloe vera gel right after. IS there anything i can do to stop the peeling? It's embarrasing. My doctor gave me a vitamin A creme for my acne. When I use it it really peels off my skin...read on please? i just got off acccutane, and I got some vitamin A creme to take care of the problem once and for all. However after using it for 3 days my skin in flaking off in small chunks and it looks terrible, and it got kind of sore the other day. Should I keep using it? Or just use it every other day so its managable? thats what vitamin A does idiot. it sheds your outer epidermis.

Does anyone know of a dermatological/ chemical peels skin lightening procedure that lightens dark complexion? I'm a dark skinned latina and have very bad unevened skin tone. My legs, upper chest area surronding my breast are also light brown, including my arms and face and the rest of my body are very black. It seems like I'm losing my color over the years as I get older. This makes it impossible to wear shorts/tank tops or whatever, due to the various shades. I would like to evenout my complexion. It's very hard to keep covering up under makeup as that is time consuming and leaves stains on clothing. I'm not too much interested in skin lightening creams either, they also are time consuming, takes forever before results are seen and I happen to be allergic to the creams. This is a state of emergency, I appreciate all you guy's feedback. I'm not trying to be Michael Jackson white or anything like that. I just want my entire body to be the same color.

Do "facial peels" irritate you skin more if you already have pimples? So this "facial scrub" or facial peel or whatever it's called, the thing where you do it onlyonce a week and after cleaning your face, does it irritate you pimples that are already there even more so? my dermatologist gave me some cream that peels my skin? its called tazorac. anyway ive only used it for three days and see improvement but what can i do to prevent/get rid of the little peelings of skin. - tried face scrub already. it just comes back...

Have you PERSONALLY tried banana peels on your skin for poison ivy or poison oak? How did it work for you? Does it hurt? Did you apply it to the skin or apply it after you scratched the affected area? What does it do for the area and how long does it take?
