Chemical peels-only doctors please? I used to visit my dermatologist very often a couple of years ago because of my acne-prone skin. She would prescribe a tretinoin cream and I would have a chemical peel every two months. My skin looked so radiant and blemish-free back then. In the last two years, I haven't had the chance to go. Chemical Peels for lines, scars etc...? I am 27 years old and I feel that I am aging beyond my years. I have incredibly deep brow lines, laugh lines, and fine lines around my eyes. After having my son 4 years ago I went from having flawless skin to lines, bad back acne, large face pores and moderate acne and scarring on my face. I am wondering if a chemical peel will take care of not only the lines and scarring but the pores and if it can be applied to my back as well. I have used soooo many creams on my back they have bleached almost every shirt i own. Does anyone know of a safe and good at home peel? i have been looking at them online. There are so many different ones though.

acne chemical peels and microdermabrasion plz help:(? i have clear skin but when the light shines on it u can see some very very light scarring from acne u wouldn notice until the light shines on it and i was jus wondering would a chemical peel or micro dermabrasion really work and get rid of them and if so which one should i get or would a combination of both be even better i dont really want to spend my money on it if it aint going to work so plz help me with this

I'm 16 and thinking about getting a chemical peel a mild one...I went to my dermatologist and they gave me a pill and differein and it worked and now my face is cleared up...she told me that even if you don't pop pimples it still leaves a mark..mine aren't fading AT ALL...so she suggested I get a chemical peel...any thoughts on it? how are the results? does it work? hurt? price?

Will Chemical Peels work for my problem?? I am only 26 years old but I have some fines lines on my forehead and around my eyes. I also have some frown lines. I drink very little water. Like there are days I will go without drinking any water whatsoever. I also take energy pills, which are known to dehydrate you and your skin. Yesterday , I took a look at my skin at it look tired and stressed and the texture wasnt what it should be at my age. I dont drink or smoke. is it illegal to sell chemical peels to someone that does not have a license? I recently went on line to a website touting TCA peels, lactid acid, etc. I should have held on to the old adage, "if it sounds too good to be true" Because I have been ripped off. I contacted the company to let them know of my dissatisfaction and they sent me harrassing emails about extortion and lawyers! Ha. Are Chemical peels the solution?? I have a line that has formed on my cheek. It runs from my undereye area to my cheek and I can't seem to get rid of it. My beautician says it can be gotton rid of with a series of peels. Would that help? I've heard of botox and fillers but wouldn't want to have them. Will the peels help get rid of this line??
Chemical Peels too extreme???? Any Help??? I'm a cook at a Chinese restaurant and they do a lot of strifryed foods and the oil's really been messing up my skin. I'm starting to look for another job that gives more hours anyway but I'm afraid that the damage to my skin will be irriversable. It's not even that I'm getting pimples, it's more like my skin is just so uneven now, like millions of itsybitsy bumps cover my face. I have proactive but it only seems to be helping whenever I get a really visible pimple. I also have tons of blackheads aswell. I don't even know what Chemcal peels do, or whether it's too extreme for my case...but if anyone has any ideas, please let me know....
Chemical Peels to remove acne scars = keloids? I'm 22 yrs old, asian with a medium/beige skintone. I've got slight but many acne scarring on one side of my cheek and the other side seem to have form keloids or hypertropic scars. I've got a history of forming keloids especially from piercings and my primary physician did mention it can occur from acne. My question is would it be ok for me to have chemical treatments without triggering keloids to possibly come out? I had a consultation at the spa, but jeez the lady that consulted me didn't even know the answer. Can anyone pls. help? Thanks!
